Join Calm Mediation’s Restorative Justice team as a certified volunteer RJ practitioner.
Following our successful tender bid in the summer, Calm Mediation will continue to provide quality, safe restorative interventions as the commissioned Restorative Justice service for London.
We enter this new contract with a vision to scale up and diversify our volunteer panel to best respond to the needs of our vibrant capital city and shape the future of RJ in London.
Course Details
The FREE 3-day training course will take place at a London venue.
9am – 5pm Thursday 28th November 2024, Wednesday 4th December 2024 and Thursday 5th December 2024
Delegates must attend all three days of the training and offer a 12-month commitment to volunteering with Calm Mediation RJ Service.
Criteria
To qualify for one of the free of charge places on this training you need to meet the following criteria.
- Availability to attend all 3 training days
- Engage practitioner development
- Ability to meet participants in person across London and the wider prison estate
- Willing to make a 12 month commitment to volunteering with Calm Mediation RJ service

If you have a passion for restorative justice, availability for casework across London and the wider prison estate and would like to join our incredible team of volunteer practitioners, you can take the first step of our selection process by completing our Practitioner Registration Form. Applications for the next training course close on Sunday 13th October 2024 and spaces are limited.
If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend an online interview during the last two weeks of October.
