Crimestoppers have produced a series of podcasts called Community Conversations where a panel and audience discuss knife crime in local communities. Each episode focuses on a specific issue and Julie our Restorative Justice Service manager, was invited to attend the Community Conversation on RJ.
As well as Julie you will hear from two other panellists; Barry Mizen, recipient of The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) and founder of The Forgiveness Project – a project he started after the murder of his son Jimmy Mizen in 2008. And Sophie Barton-Hawkins, ex-offender who now advocates for Restorative Justice, a powerful public speaker who you may be familiar with from our RJ for the Modern Day conference last month, during International Restorative Justice Awareness week.
