Did you know that Calm Mediation Restorative Justice Service offer free RJ awareness workshops for your organisation’s staff and volunteers?
The 2-hour interactive workshops can be delivered in-person at your London premises or online via Zoom or Teams.
The sessions are for staff and volunteers who support victims of crime and adult offenders.
The aim of the workshop is to provide our fellow professionals with:
- An overview of RJ and where it sits within the Victim’s Code
- An understanding of how RJ helps victims and offenders to find a positive way forward from the harm and conflict caused by crime
- The knowledge, confidence and language to broach the subject of RJ with those who would benefit from the service
- The ability to assess the suitability of potential referrals
- An opportunity to ask any questions you may have about how we would support your service users and the opportunity for you to tell us how we can support your service users more effectively
- A clear referral pathway
- Information on further support to identify potential referrals
