Mel has been mediating since 1997 and has held the role of Peer Mediation Service manager since 2000. The service has won many awards nationally and internationally. Mel thinks it is important for all young people to have access to the process of mediation, whether the mediator or the service user, creating resolution and understanding, allowing those involved to move forward and harness the necessary skills to resolve conflicts amicably in the future.
