Our mediators are all registered with the Family Mediation Council and we are authorised to sign relevant Court forms.
Calm mediation has assisted over 3000 couples with child and/or finance arrangements over the last 8 years. No matter how difficult the situation seems, we can assist you, confidentially, to understand your options and to have the supported conversations you need.
We provide high quality professional family mediation at highly competitive prices. Our service is also contracted with the Legal Aid Agency to offer free mediation to those who qualify. In addition, we participate in the government's mediation Voucher scheme.
Calm Mediation can offer flexibility for meetings, including out of hours appointments where necessary. We are able to offer family mediation in-person at our Southwark office or on-line via Zoom.

Ed joined Calm Mediation as CEO in September 2023. Over the past 25 years he has held senior leadership positions in organisations dedicated to legal services, conflict resolution and regulation. Most recently he was CEO of independent press regulator Impress and sports arbitration and mediation body Sport Resolutions. Earlier in his career he worked in legal aid, criminal justice and advertising development. He is an experienced leadership coach and mentor.
Ed is married with two adult daughters. His passions include sport, film, theatre, travel and cooking.
