Get trained in both the theory and practice of workplace mediation using the facilitative mediation process with an organisation that has a 20 year history of giving its graduates an opportunity to put their skills into practice.

Delivered by a qualified trainer, who is a practising accredited mediator, this hands on six-day course will equip delegates with the skills necessary to become an effective workplace mediator, making them a valuable in-house or external resource for employers. The realistic, practical approach, with plenty of opportunity to try out new skills, enables delegates to experience the role of mediator, as it would feel in their organisation. Constructive individual feedback throughout the course ensures continuous development. The independent OCN accreditation gives you the chance to stand out from other mediators.
There are no prerequisites for this course but places will be limited to 12 delegates to ensure quality teaching with plenty of opportunity for individual feedback. Once you ‘register your interest’ we will contact you to ensure you have all the information you need for before, during and after the course. The total cost is £1500 to the point of Certification.
Places are limited to 12 to maintain quality support; it’s free to register your interest.

Earning the OCN Accredited Mediation Practitioner qualification:
The Calm Mediation course offers the exceptional value of three levels of learning: theory, practical assessment and written assessment. Few courses provide the benefit of consolidating your learning after the teaching phase. You will have the opportunity to secure an independently recognised qualification through OCN. Most importantly, completion of this phase will give you confidence in the quality of your practice.
Practical assessment: will take place on days 5 and 6, and will test the skills required of a workplace mediator in realistic cases role-played by other delegates, giving a further learning opportunity.
Written assessment: delegates will be asked to answer 15 questions in writing within two months following the course. These will consolidate your learning and enhance the self-reflection of your practice.
Upon passing both the practical and written elements, delegates will be awarded the OCN accredited mediation practitioner qualification. Under the OCN scheme, you will be awarded 9 Credits at Level 3.
Fee includes all course materials, practical assessment, accreditation and subsequent written feedback.
This course is carefully paced to make the most of your training time. It means that full attendance is required to fulfil the requirements and achieve accreditation.
