Yasamin is our newest RJ Case Coordinator, she comes from a background of refugee frontline work, where she assisted Southwark Council by interpreting in Arabic and Farsi for refugee clients applying for homelessness applications. Yasamin discovered her passion for community and charity work when she began volunteering after finishing her MA in Japanese Studies, which led her to form a Women’s Support Group, where she taught TESOL to refugee women to boost their confidence in interacting with service providers. Yasamin’s interests and passions range from gender studies to 20th century media.
